Our History

Dyadic’s journey began in the 1980s with industrial enzyme development and advanced significantly in the 1990s with the discovery of its proprietary fungal host, Thermothelomyces heterothallica.

A history of scale and science
Building on this foundation, we have steadily evolved into a leading provider of scalable, precision-engineered protein production solutions. Our platforms have achieved regulatory traction – including GRAS status for food-grade applications, cGMP production capability, and completion of a first-in-human Phase I study – and now enable commercial-scale manufacturing of high-value input proteins for bioprocessing, nutrition, and pharmaceutical applications.
